Elevator Music
I believe the purpose of this video was to show how people do not care if other's hear their music or not on their phones. People think they can do what ever they want. When the man carrying the boom box comes in he looks around and plugs in head phones. Once he does that everyone shuts off their music. He showed them that it is rude to blare their music when they could still listen to it by head phones.

I agree that everyone in the elevator realized that it was rude to listen to music without considering the other persons feelings. I think the point is to treat others how you want to be treated.
